The Catholic Health Association of India is a Non-Governmental Organization that works in various areas of healthcare, touching the lives of 12 million marginalized people every year. Our key focus areas are

1. Community Health

2. Palliative Care

3. Children affected by HIV/AIDS

4. Disability

But our work is not limited to these fields. During the year 2018-19, CHAI has reached out to 28,21,048 people and 5,40,576 households through awareness activities. 86,148 people were tested in the community and 23,161 were referred for medical care. 31,506 patients were reached through health services in these programs. 38,796 members were linked to various government schemes. 207 CHAI MIs, and 107 Non-Governmental Organisations partnered with CHAI in reaching these people. These partners have 850 trained local volunteers engaged in grassroots work.
