Dr. Ashish Kumar has been working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at XIM University since December 2022. Prior to that, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at GITAM University, Hyderabad, and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He has completed his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. His research interests include Blockchain, Cryptography, Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Wireless Sensor Networks.
Dr. Kalpana Sahoo is an Associate Professor in Organizational Behaviour at the School of Human Resource Management, XIM University. She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching, research and training. Her doctoral research concerns exploring Critical Predictors of Happiness in Social life. Her research interests lies in areas such as Learned Optimism, Positive Psychology, Leadership, Employee Engagement, Emotional Intelligence and Personality.<br /> With a thorough understanding of human psychology, Kalpana also serves as a counselor and a life coach. She is a regular columnist in the print media and a regular speaker on the local TV channels for Odisha. She has conducted several counseling sessions for diverse groups of people such as corporate professionals, students, parents etc. She has conducted several training workshops for many organizations across multiple sectors. She also has extensive experience on human lab for Working Professionals that focus on Anxiety and Stress Management, Psychometric Profiling, Work-Life Balance sessions for physical wellness and mental well-being. She has also worked on the development of Customized Psychometric instruments for organizations and need-based behavioural assessments.
Dr. Subhra Pattnaik works as an Associate Professor in School of Human Resource Management, XIM University. She is an electrical engineer from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and has completed her post-graduation in HR and Finance from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar where she bagged double gold medals for exceptional academic achievements. Her doctoral work revolves around organizational justice and employee performance in Indian Public Sector Units. Her research interests include meaningful work, organization justice, assessment-development centers, and employee performance, cross-cultural management, and diversity in organizations. She has published several papers on these themes in tiered journals of international repute.<br /> Subhra has around 16 years of work experience, spanning across consulting and academia. She specializes in projects on performance management, job evaluation and compensation, and competency mapping and talent assessment. In her consulting career, she has won several accolades from her employers for excellent client service.
