Dr.  Muralidharan Kesavan

 

Dr. Muralidharan Kesavan is the Medical Superintendent and Professor of Psychiatry in National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. He holds MBBS from Bangalore Medical College, MD (Psychiatry) from NIMHANS and  MBA (Hosp Admin) – Madurai Kamaraj University, DDE. He conducts research in Bipolar Disorder, Depression and Brain Stimulation/Modulation in Psychiatry. He has at least 133 publications and 815 citations to his name and 10 Projects executed under his leadership.

Asian Young Psychiatrist Award – Awarded by the Asian Federation of Psychiatric Associations;

WFSBP Award for Young Investigators – Awarded by the World Federation Societies for Biological Psychiatry, Paris, France;

RSA Young Investigator Award – Awarded by the Research Society on Alcoholism, Washington DC, USA;

Dr. Shekhar Seshadri

 

Dr. Shekhar Seshadri is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi and a Post-graduate in Psychiatry from National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. He is currently Senior Professor, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; and Dean of Behavioral Sciences at NIMHANS. Besides working with child and adolescent mental health including developmental disabilities, he is actively involved in the areas of gender and sexualities, violence/trauma and abuse, juvenile justice, experiential methodologies, school programmes, teacher training in life skills education, community and school mental health programmes, forum theatre and qualitative research.

Sr.Thomasamma yeddanapally JMJ

 

Sr.Thomasamma Yeddanapally belongs to the JMJ congregation and is currently the Administrator of St Theresa’s Hospital, Hyderabad. She has done her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from MGR Medical University, Chennai; a Diploma in Health Care Administration from St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru; and a Certificate Course in NABH Quality Training by ACME Consultancy, Chennai. She has worked as the President of CHAAP for 5 years. She also holds the position of TCBC Health Secretary for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Sr Dr Annie Sheela CTC

 

Sr Dr Annie Sheela belongs to the Congregation of Teresian Carmelites (CTC). Sr. Dr. Annie did her MBBS and MD from Bangalore University and DM in Cardiology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. She is a Cardiologist by specialization and is currently the Director and Chief Cardiologist at PS Mission Hospital, Maradu, Kochi. She is also a Lecturer in the Cardiology Department at St John’s Medical College, Bengaluru. She was the Joint Secretary of CHAI during the years 1996 to 1998 and is currently a CHAI Kerala Board Member. She is also a Member of the KCBC Health Commission and on the Panel of Reconciliation of the Archdiocese of Verapoly.

Sr Marina Abraham SCC

 

Sr Marina Abraham SCC belongs to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod. She is a Nurse Practitioner by profession. At present, she is the In-charge of Holy Cross Health Centre in Guwahati, Assam. She has done her Bachelor degree in Nursing and completed the Nurse Practitioner course conducted by CHAI. She has functioned as the President of NECHA region for six years in two terms.
