150 Youth with Disability Express Themselves Through Comics
The Master Training Programme on Grassroots Comics towards “Raising the Voices of Children with Disabilities through Grassroots Comics” concluded on 20th March 2015. Around 170 participants from different parts of the Southern states participated in the four-day training.
The training was conducted in 5 batches (8th -20 March) through which participants learned and prepared for themselves various grassroots comics in their local dialects which can be used for local awareness programmes. The training was intended to provide a platform for children and youngsters with disabilities to express and share the issues affecting their participation through the medium of grassroots comics.
