Orientation Meeting Held For Diocesan Health Coordinators
Following the successful implementation of the Strategic Planning Process at the diocese level, the Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI) for the first time conducted a two-day orientation meeting for the first batch of 10 Diocesan Health Coordinators (DHCs) representing 10 dioceses across the country. The two-day orientation was held at CHAI Central Office, Secunderabad, on 7th and 8th May 2015.
The purpose of the meeting was to orient the participants on the role of DHCs in the respective DHUs and expectations of CHAI as well as formulate a road-map for Diocesan Health Units (DHUs) for the next 3 years and an action plan for next 6 months. During the two-day orientation programme, additional relevant input sessions were conducted on soft skills such as communication, motivation, teamwork and improving self-confidence. All the 10 DHCs received a two-wheeler and a laptop each under Project Mobility and Connectivity to effectively and efficiently perform their proposed responsibilities in strengthening the DHUs.
