CHAI MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK:

  • CHAI is governed by the central Executive Board (EB). In tandem with the Executive Board, the Director General (DG), appointed by and directly reporting to EB, is responsible for the overall supervision of day-to-day affairs of the CHAI-Central Office located at Secunderabad, with support from the Core Team consist of Administrator and the team leaders (directly reporting to DG) of various departments – Planning and Monitoring Projects including HR desk, Finance, Research& Documentation, Training Centre, Editorial & Circulation and Administration & Dispatch – maintaining efficient coordination among them based on a prescribed Inter/Intra Communication Matrix.
  • Organization is having formal HR and financial policies and procedures; also, a gender policy, ensuring equal opportunities for men and women including decision making process.
  • ‘Planning and Monitoring’ Dept., directed by DG, is overall responsible for various projects with respective team leaders – involving participatory proposal development and planning, implementation, monitoring – mid-course corrective measures ensuring the outputs and annual reviews to assess outcomes and evaluation to assess the impact and identify best practices to be sustained and replicated.
